2025 ANA USA Palliative distribution in Asaba
HON. ENGR. KENNEDY OKAFOR, PRESIDENT, ASABA NATIONAL ASSOCIATION (ANA) USA, DISTRIBUTES BAGS OF RICE AND INDOMIE NOODLES TO WIDOWS, ELDERLY, AND VULNERABLE ASABA INDIGENES AT OGWA UKWU AHABA – DECEMBER 23, 2025
In the spirit of the Yuletide season, Hon. Engr. Kennedy Okafor, President of the Asaba National Association (ANA) USA and Anya Asagba in the United States of America, led the distribution of bags of rice and Indomie noodles to widows, elderly citizens, and vulnerable Asaba indigenes at Ogwa Ukwu Ahaba on December 23, 2025.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Okafor expressed his delight and pride in the unwavering commitment of Asaba indigenes in the United States to continually support their families and the wider Asaba community back home. He commended the elderly beneficiaries who arrived early at Ogwa Ukwu Ahaba for the distribution and reaffirmed his dedication to serving the kingdom diligently during his tenure as President of ANA USA.
He emphasized that under his leadership, ANA USA will continue to prioritize initiatives that bring relief, comfort, and hope to members of the Asaba community, especially the most vulnerable.
Also speaking, Obi Onyemanogeme Ajufoh, who upon his final return to Asaba became a member of the Association, praised the leadership of ANA USA under Hon. Kennedy Okafor for their consistent support and thoughtfulness, particularly during festive periods. He appreciated the association’s members for remembering their families and friends back home and assured them of his continued support.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Juwah, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Asaba indigenes in the United States for the generous initiative. She prayed that Almighty God would continue to uplift and bless them with long life and good health to enable them to do even more for themselves and the Asaba community.
The outreach once again reflects the enduring bond between Asaba indigenes in the diaspora and their homeland, demonstrating unity, compassion, and collective responsibility
